Vivian Hudson is a senior in the Honors program at UConn, and will be obtaining a dual degree in music and psychological sciences. She is currently working on her Honors thesis under the advisement of Dr. Edward Large and Dr. Stefanie Acevedo on the brain’s response to musical syntax discrepancies. She plans to take a gap year after graduation to work ideally in a music therapy institute, and later plans to attend graduate school for music therapy. When not in the lab, Vivian plays cello in the UConn symphony orchestra and sings in Collegium Musicum, the university’s early music ensemble. She also works as a choral scholar at Storrs Congregational Church.
In her free time, Vivian enjoys crocheting, learning languages, and cooking/baking.
