Isadore Palacpac

Isadore Palacpac is a junior at the University of Connecticut. He is pursuing a B.S. degree in psychology on a pre-med track with minors in jazz studies and biological sciences. He is interested in neural responses to different musical syntaxes, music’s impact on social cognition, and clinical applications of music in medicine. Isadore is the pianist for the UConn Jazz Ensemble under the direction of John Mastroianni. He is an avid rock climber; when not outdoors, he enjoys the company of his pug Arya and impromptu jam sessions.
