Ji Chul Kim studied physics and music theory at Seoul National University in South Korea and obtained a PhD degree in music theory and cognition at Northwestern University. He joined the Music Dynamics Laboratory in 2011 as a postdoctoral fellow, where he continues working with Dr. Edward Large as an assistant research professor. His research interest is in building dynamical systems models of music perception and performance. Visit his website to learn more about his research.
