Ph.D. Candidate and Research Assistant, Department of Physics, University of Connecticut . Music Dynamics Laboratory – University of Connecticut
Current Researches and Interests:
I am doing my Ph.D. in Physics. My current researches in the Music Dynamics Lab are mathematical physics of the oscillatory gradient frequency neural networks especially the auditory system of the brain, simulation and analysis of spiking neurons using canonical models such as Izhikevich neuronal model and analysis of a single neuron besides the population of neurons via statistical mechanics. Besides those, I am interested in foundations of Persian Music both analytically and cognitively.
